Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 7, 2026

By using the Marble Blast Online website and downloading any associated game files, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use our services. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or download the games.

Marble Blast Online is a non-commercial fan preservation project. We are:

• Not affiliated with GarageGames, InstantAction, or any original rights holders
• Not selling or monetizing the games
• Providing free downloads for personal enjoyment and preservation
• Operating as an open-source community project

This project exists to keep Marble Blast Gold, Marble Blast Platinum, and Marble Blast Ultra playable on modern platforms. We respect the original creators and their intellectual property.

The original Marble Blast games, including textures, sounds, music, levels, and trademarks, are the property of their respective owners (originally GarageGames and InstantAction). We do not claim ownership of these assets.

The Haxe port of Marble Blast that powers these builds is:

• Open-source under the MIT License
• Built with permission from the Marble Blast Web Port project
• Based on physics reversing from the OpenMBU project
• Available at github.com/RandomityGuy/MBHaxe

The codebase is a new implementation written in Haxe, not a direct copy of the original C++ engine. Original game assets are used under the assumption of fair use for preservation and non-commercial purposes.

If you create and share custom levels, replays, or other user-generated content related to Marble Blast Online, you retain ownership but grant the community permission to use, modify, and distribute that content within the game ecosystem.

You agree to:

• Use the games for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Respect the intellectual property of the original creators
• Not redistribute modified versions claiming official status
• Follow community guidelines in multiplayer and Discord spaces
• Not attempt to disrupt servers or cheat in competitive modes

You agree NOT to:

• Sell, rent, or commercially exploit the game builds
• Claim ownership of the original Marble Blast IP
• Use the games for illegal purposes
• Harass other players in multiplayer sessions
• Reverse engineer the game for malicious purposes

All game builds (Windows, macOS, Android, browser) are provided free of charge. Downloads are hosted on GitHub.

You are free to share, redistribute, and modify the game builds under the MIT License. We encourage:

• Providing attribution to the original project and linking back here
• Clearly marking any modifications you make
• Sharing improvements back with the community

The builds are open-source, so feel free to host mirrors, create modified versions, or integrate them into other projects—just follow the MIT License terms and respect the original creators.

We may release updates to fix bugs, improve compatibility, or add features. You are responsible for downloading the latest versions manually. The games do not auto-update.

THE GAMES AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

We do our best to provide quality, reliable software, but we cannot absolutely guarantee:

• Compatibility with all hardware or operating systems
• Complete absence of bugs or crashes
• Permanent preservation of game progress or leaderboard data
• Uninterrupted availability of multiplayer servers
• Continued development or support indefinitely

We actively maintain and improve the project to the best of our ability, but this is a volunteer effort. Use at your own discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for loss of game progress, replays, or leaderboard standings
• We are not liable for issues caused by third-party services
• You use the games and website entirely at your own risk

This is a volunteer-run fan project with no commercial backing. We cannot provide professional support or legal guarantees.

Our multiplayer servers (Platinum and Ultra) are provided free of charge. We aim to keep the community welcoming and fun for everyone. To maintain a positive environment, we may:

• Address cheating or disruptive behavior when reported
• Take action against harassment or abuse
• Perform server maintenance or updates as needed
• Correct leaderboard issues if necessary

We prefer to resolve issues through discussion first, but reserve the right to take action when needed to protect the community.

Browser builds run client-side in your web browser. They work well on modern browsers, though performance may vary depending on your hardware and browser configuration. We do not guarantee compatibility with all browsers or extensions.

• Windows & macOS: You may need to bypass security warnings (Gatekeeper, SmartScreen) since the builds are not code-signed.
• macOS: Move the .app to /Applications before launching and approve via System Preferences.
• Android: Sideloading APKs requires enabling “Install from Unknown Sources” in your device settings. Our APKs are safe, free, and built from the open-source codebase.

The Xbox build requires Developer Mode and sideloading. This is an advanced feature and we cannot provide step-by-step support for all Xbox configurations.

We are committed to keeping Marble Blast Online available for the long term. This project is a labor of love, and we have no plans to discontinue it.

However, as a volunteer-run project, we reserve the right to make changes if unforeseen circumstances arise, such as:

• Performing necessary server maintenance or upgrades
• Addressing moderation issues in multiplayer spaces
• Adapting to technical or legal requirements

Even in the unlikely event that we need to make significant changes, the open-source code will remain available on GitHub under the MIT License, ensuring the community can continue the project independently.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the site and games after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the project maintainers reside. Any disputes will be resolved informally through community discussion or, if necessary, in accordance with applicable law.
